Privacy Policy — Remind Me Daily

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Who we are. Remind Me Daily is a daily Scripture-reflection app made by DiMarcoDesign (Christopher DiMarco) ("we," "us"). You can reach us at critzero@gmail.com.

The short version. We built Remind Me Daily to be private. There is no account to create. We don't show ads, we don't use analytics or tracking SDKs, and we don't sell or share your information. Your reflections live on your device. To make the app work, some features send data to services you choose or to Apple's built-in services, described in full below.

1. Information we do not collect

We do not collect personal information on our own servers. There is no sign-up, no login, and no advertising or analytics tracking. We do not maintain a profile about you.

2. Information stored on your device

Your reflections, conversation history, settings, and the AI provider API key you enter are stored locally on your device (in the app's storage). We do not have access to them. When you export a reflection, the file is saved wherever you choose (the Files app, email, etc.) — that destination is controlled by you.

3. How your reflection content is processed (Bring-Your-Own-Key)

The reflection companion is powered by a third-party AI model. You provide your own API key for an AI provider you choose, and that key is stored on your device and sent only to that provider to authorize requests. When you reflect, the text of your reflection (including text transcribed from your speech) is transmitted to the AI provider you have configured so it can generate a response. Depending on your selection, that provider is one of:

Because you use your own account and key, your reflection content is handled under your agreement with that provider. We do not receive or store that content.

4. Speech recognition (speaking your reflection)

If you use the hands-free/voice mode, your spoken words are converted to text using Apple's built-in Speech Recognition. Depending on your device and settings, audio may be processed by Apple to perform this recognition. See Apple's Privacy Policy — apple.com/legal/privacy.

5. Spoken playback (text-to-speech)

The app can read text aloud. If you select the enhanced online voice, the text to be spoken (for example, the verse, the companion's question, or its response) is sent to OpenAI's text-to-speech service using your key — openai.com/policies/privacy-policy. If you select an on-device Apple voice, playback happens entirely on your device with no network request.

6. Scripture lookups

To show and read the day's verse, the app requests Scripture text from our verse service (the "RMD Bible API," hosted on Cloudflare). These requests contain only what's needed to fetch the passage — the date, reading plan, translation, and reference. They do not include your reflections, your identity, or your API keys. Standard web-request metadata (such as IP address) may be processed transiently by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to deliver the response; we do not use it to identify or track you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy — cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. The Worker does not log or store request details; Cloudflare's standard transient processing is described in their privacy policy linked above.

7. Children's privacy

Remind Me Daily is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app collects no personal information on our servers, it does not gather data from children either.

8. Your choices and rights

You can delete any reflection in the app, remove your stored API key at any time, or delete the app to remove its on-device data. To exercise rights over content you've sent to an AI provider, contact that provider directly, since it's held under your account with them.

If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights regarding personal data under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA. Because Remind Me Daily does not collect or store personal information on our servers, there is no personal data held by DiMarcoDesign to access, correct, or delete. For any data held by AI providers under your own account, please contact those providers directly.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date.
